Great staff. Lovely place to sit and chat or take the family. Food NEVER disappoints.
Menu is typical pub style and prices are a little high for the quality of the establishment at $25 to 35 for main meals. Staff are friendly most of the time and drinks service is generally quick. Pub has small bottle shop open till 7pm most nights of the week. Not much happens here. Just a quite locals pub.
Have eaten here three times in the last few months, our meals were awesome. The new Chef is lovely, very friendly and spot on with the meals, which I must say were generous in size each time. Lovely to see someone so passionate about their job and so connected with the staff she works with.
I am absolutely disappointed, we had organized a huge party at the hotel booking out all accommodation. When organizing food I asked numerous times to be given a more detailed list of what was included in the platters that were to cost me $175 each. For 8 platters I was quoted $1000 and that was 'giving substantial discounts'. When I cancelled there was not even a phonecall to see 'what we can do to keep your business' chat, absolutely nothing. I have loved going to this establishment for many years, will not go back under current management. So disappointed.
Love the back beer gardens. Great having a few cold ones with Eastern Water Dragons hanging around. Friendly little critters too
