The view is pretty good but the hotel is pretty underwhelming, they didn't have our room ready till 4 pm, so we were left waiting around in the bar for an hour after arriving at 3, and then the our room was a two bedroom appartment instead of a three bedroom like we'd booked. All in all, a bit dissapointing.
The rooms are large and recently renovated with a comfortable king size bed. The view over the Glasshouse Mountains and to the ocean are outstanding. Staff were friendly and included continental breakfast was amble. Aslo the on site restaurant has excellent food with reasonable prices. I highly recommend Tranquil Park.
Very, very disappointing. The last time we had lunch there was 10/10 for everything. This time is ZERO. One clearly inexperienced staff member to cope with both the bar and waitering. The last two tables by the windows had bird poop over the top and the side of the starched tablecloths and no one noticed. This is an indoor restaurant! The food choice was nowhere as good either. Take a picnic lunch & a bottle of wine and sit on a rug in the park. This is how businesses go under. If I could rate it zero, I would. You can't rely on the mountain view and then give bad service.
My group from Golden Downs Brisbane, loved the exceptional food & staff were brilliant, we will be back next year! Totally, a five Star experience best on the Sunshine Coast thanks again Sally!!!
Exceptional hotel. It is very well positioned in relation to other attractions. It also provides and elegant view over the mountains. When checking in, we were greeted with the highest service in which was maintained throughout our stay. The price point for the hotel considering it's location and amenities was also very good. The only downside however was that the breakfast was a little bit disheartening but overall a fantastic stay and I would definitely come here again.
