Such a great camp spot. 3 girl friends camping and felt very safe. Great experience feeding the deer and horses. Very friendly owners. Good camping facilities. Heaps of space with a great camp fire. Can't wait to take the family there next time as I know my young boys would love it too.

Very friendly host, camped where we chose, facilities just what we wanted, hot shower, power and rain water for our caravan's tank. Beautiful view, and oh the SERENITY ! This place is what camping and caravanning is all about. Rustic yes, we loved it. And dog super friendly too. It was our first time out with our new caravan. We will return to the Kenilworth region and upper Mary River as soon as possible.

Look people this place was probably good 15 yrs ago, but unfortunately it didn't tick any boxes for me besides the fact it was empty with no other campers. It's just old and run down, the park has the appearance and feel of a horror movie, the owners look like people from the hills, Bob did have some personality but his partner was as friendly as a grave stone. Once you get brave enough to look around the park you soon notice how different it appears to the website. The cabins exterior are extremely run down but I can't comment on the interior. The high elevated part of the park is full of run down caravans, which looked like a wreaking yard lots of rubbish and falling apart caravans. The amenities were run down but not disgusting, I wouldn't wash me kids in them.Yes there are deer but was there feeding......No there wasn't. The main office is a shipping container that is falling apart, it's stinky unappealing and you couldn't pay me anything to buy or consume food from it. The other concern I had was the ground keeper cut all the lawns on the Sunday (mothers day), you go camping for the peace and quiet, he started mowing @ 12 a.m. to about 3pm and then started mowing again @ 5pm , at this point we packed the caravan down and left, it seriously offended to the point we left with out staying that night. Would I waste $30.00 a night for a powered site and stay here again.....No way the showgrounds look much better.

Very clean people happy good place

A great place to take the family camping. Bob and Joanne are fantastic hosts and the amenities were always kept clean. There was plenty of space for the kids to ride their bikes and feeding the deer and horses was a highlight.
